VP​/Director of Finance

Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute financial strategies that align with organizational objectives and support long-term growth.

- Oversee daily financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and accounting functions.

- Analyze and prepare accurate financial reports and statements for senior leadership, the board, and key stakeholders.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting requirements.

- Manage risk through the implementation of robust internal controls and financial systems.

- Lead and mentor the finance team, including recruitment, performance management, and development focused on attention to detail.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with external financial partners such as banks, auditors, and investors.

- Provide strategic financial advice to executives and contribute to high-level decision-making.

- Monitor investment portfolios and recommend strategies to optimize returns.

- Streamline financial processes to improve efficiency and accuracy across the organization.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications focused on attention to detail are strongly preferred. Real estate or construction experience required.

- At least 10 years of experience in senior financial management roles.

- Expertise in financial modeling, strategic planning, and team leadership.

- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities paired with excellent communication skills.

- Proficiency in managing annual budgets, month-end close processes, and cash flow forecasts.

- Demonstrated ability to produce accurate financial reporting and oversee budget processes.

- Familiarity with compliance standards and risk management practices.

- Proven track record of collaborating with external financial partners and stakeholders.
