Role Summary

The Senior Manager, Finance will be based in the Marlborough manufacturing facility and will provide strategic and tactical financial leadership for multiple manufacturing sites, including Marlborough, Rancho, Estonia, and Bridgewater. This position manages all aspects of the manufacturing sites’ financial planning, budgeting, and reporting while collaborating with plant leadership to optimize costs and improve operational performance.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a dedicated finance business partner to the Operations leaders and the site, with constant daily site connectivity to operations to drive problem solving and turn analytics into insights.
  • Provide financial insights and analysis for the plant and manufacturing networks to support strategic decision‑making and investment prioritization.
  • Collaborate with plant leadership to drive cost optimization initiatives and improve operational efficiency.
  • Own in partnership with sites the output plan, cost targets, inventory, CAPEX, and RPS.
  • Establish, monitor and analyze plant performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Follow standard plant and network reporting and processes to drive actions and insights, including utilization, scrap, OT, yield, production variances, and plant performance.
  • Accountable for site operations budget, actuals, and forecast setting, including reserves, variances, revaluations, and partnering with the FPA team on complete plant budgets.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Leader, Supply Chain Leader, and other senior site managers to explain results, make improvements, manage projects, identify inefficiencies, understand operations, and participate in strategic site discussions and decisions.
  • Partner with Sourcing/Procurement and RPS teams to drive cost savings and validate projects.
  • Utilize the profit bridge to understand operational performance, productivity drivers, and leakage, to drive actionable insight.
  • Perform special ad hoc analysis and projects as requested.
  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of 2-3 individuals; drive expectations; coach for continuous improvement; conduct regular 1‑on‑1s; recognize the team.
  • Support factory operations as day‑to‑day finance support, attending Gemba walks, site tier meetings, and Kaizen events to drive continuous improvement; provide reporting, variance analysis, and problem‑solving to improve factory operations and profits.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or Finance.
  • 7‑10 years of accounting or finance experience in manufacturing companies.
  • MBA or CPA/Chartered Accountant license preferred.
  • Ability to lead and develop a high‑performing finance team.
  • Highly detail oriented and organized in work.
  • Self‑starter with ability to manage work autonomously with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Ability to multitask and meet assigned deadlines.
  • Familiar with ERP software and accounting/auditing principles (SAP preferred).
  • Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem‑solving, and results.
  • Effective (clear and concise) communication skills and ability to work closely with global colleagues.
  • Indirect influence with the ability to drive change inside the organization and play the devil’s advocate as necessary.
Compensation & Benefits

The estimated base salary range for this role, based in the United States of America is $132,700 - $215,000. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications, location, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Employees are eligible to participate in variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
