About The Job:Century is seeking a full-time, Commercial Real Estate Analyst to work directly with a HUD MAP‑approved underwriter. This opportunity includes exposure to all aspects of the FHA / HUD commercial real estate mortgage process, as well as our bridge loan programs.
The job will be hybrid role, with required in‑office hours each week at our Marlborough, MA office.
- Analyze multifamily lending opportunities, including review of property financial performance, market data, borrower sponsorship, and transaction structure.
- Prepare financial underwriting models to size and structure loan requests in accordance with FHA/HUD, agency, and company lending guidelines.
- Review borrower financial statements, real estate schedules, rent rolls, operating statements, and third‑party reports to assess credit quality and transaction feasibility.
- Prepare underwriting narratives, credit analyses, and financing recommendations to support lending decisions.
- Coordinate and track due diligence throughout the underwriting process, including appraisals, environmental reports, property condition assessments, market studies, and organizational documents.
- Assist in the preparation and review of loan application exhibits, regulatory forms, and lender‑specific documentation.
- Participate in property inspections and market evaluations to assess property condition, competitive positioning, and market fundamentals.
- Monitor transaction timelines and maintain organized loan files to support timely execution from application through closing.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or related field.
- Experience working in commercial real estate or banking finance, preferred.
- Strong desire for a career in commercial real estate or banking finance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, as well as most Microsoft Office programs.
- Excellent organizational, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliverables simultaneously.
