Mental Health Associate, Psych, Per Diem

UMass Memorial Health -  - Responsibilities:
Participates as a member of the mental health team on inpatient and/or outpatient mental health unit;
Provides direct patient care including treatment planning, implementing plans, documentation, and milieu safety assessments and activities;
Provides clear, timely communication to the unit's licensed nurses regarding observations and changes seen in the patient;  Maintains patient safety by performing patient safety checks, environmental safety rounds, and fall-prevention strategies;
Uses de-escalation and calming tools and follows the Restraint Policy when caring for a restrained patient
