We’re looking for a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant who brings sharp clinical judgment, thorough organization, and genuine warmth to our practice, ensuring every patient feels seen, heard, and meticulously cared for.

• Escort patients to exam rooms, interview patients, measure vital signs (including weight, blood pressure, pulse, temperature), and accurately and thoroughly document all information in the patient’s electronic medical record.
• Assist physicians and midwives directly during examinations and procedures within the exam rooms.
• Perform basic laboratory testing, such as urine dipsticks and pregnancy tests.
• Give clear instructions and medical guidance to patients as directed by our physicians or midwives.
• Take telephone messages and provide timely feedback and answers to patient, physician, and pharmacy calls under the instruction of physicians and midwives.
• Triage and process messages from patients to physicians, and schedule appointments appropriately based on clinical needs.
• Keep exam rooms fully stocked with adequate medical supplies, maintain clinical instruments, and perform sterilization as required.
• Maintain all required logs and clinical checks (including refrigerator temperatures, emergency medications, expired medications, and cold sterilization fluid changes).
• Travel between our practice offices as necessary or required to support the clinical team.

• Current certification or registration as a Medical Assistant (required).
• Both a high school diploma or GED (required).
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• One year of medical experience in a physician’s office, clinic, or hospital preferred; prior OB/GYN experience is an asset.
• Careful listening skills, critical thinking, and sharp clinical judgment.
• A high level of sensitivity, empathy, professionalism, and strict commitment to patient confidentiality.
• An extremely organized and focused mindset with the demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced medical office.
• Computer proficiency and comfort navigating electronic health platforms.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology and arithmetic.
• The ability to establish and maintain cordial working relationships with patients, medical staff, and co-workers, treating everyone with dignity and respect.
