Human Resources Specialist​/Manager

Cardio Focus is seeking a full-time Human Resources Specialist/Manager to lead the company’s people strategy and day-to-day operations. This highly visible, hands-on role is ideal for a versatile professional who enjoys building effective processes while also managing day-to-day priorities. As a growing company, this individual will partner closely with leadership and employees to strengthen organizational effectiveness, support employee engagement and development, and help maintain a positive, high-performing workplace culture.

This position will report to the Vice President of Finance and Administration.

• Drive full-cycle talent acquisition, partnering with hiring managers to source, assess, and hire top talent
• Prepare, coordinate, and execute offer letters, ensuring accuracy, timely communication, and a seamless transition from candidate selection through acceptance
• Manage the employee life-cycle, including onboarding, performance management, goal-setting, employee development, and offboarding
• Serve as the primary HR resource for employees and managers, providing guidance on policies, employee relations, performance issues, and HR best practices
• Administer and process payroll across domestic and international jurisdictions
• Manage employee benefits, including PTO, annual open enrollment, and the Company's 401(k) program
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and maintain HR policies and employee records
• Coordinate leave administration, personnel documentation, and routine HR reporting
• Review and approve employee expense reports (Concur experience preferred)
• Partner with leadership to develop and execute people strategies that strengthen employee engagement and foster a collaborative culture
• Support ad-hoc HR initiatives, projects, and operational needs as they arise, bringing a flexible, hands-on approach to a growing organization

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience; title will be based on experience
• Experience in managing, recruiting, employee relations, payroll, benefits, and HR compliance
• Experience administering employee benefits and 401(k) plans
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
• Experience with HRIS and payroll systems
• ADP experience preferred
• Concur experience preferred
• Microsoft Suite experience preferred
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is a plus

SALARY RANGE: $100,000 - $120,000 + Bonus
