* About the role:

** As the Technical Team Lead for Enterprise Dev Ops Capabilities (DevX), you will focus on uplifting the experience and productivity of developers, analysts and other technical practioners working within the Intelligence Community.

You will lead a team of capable engineers and work closely with your stakeholders to provide the tools and platforms neccesary to integrate and embed Dev Ops practices.

While remaining hands‑on with technical work, you will bring strong relationship and engagement skills, the ability to identify and action opportunities to improve complex systems and processes, and the enthusiasm to guide stakeholders through adoption of new more efficient ways of working.

We are looking for a technically‑savvy leader who thrives on a blend of people leadership, strategic business partnership, and hands‑on contributions.

You will bring:
* Strong understanding of what Dev Sec Ops  is, and how it can add value
* Hands-on experience with technologies used to implement Dev Ops in practice, including commercial tools (e.g. Gitlab, Artifactory etc.)
* Stakeholder management, customer centricity and a focus on delivering value
* Adaptability and resilience, the ability to manage complex technology work streams and associated problems
* People leadership experience, achieving results through others

** The expected appointing range
** for this position is between $142,093 - $151,566 per annum.

You must:
* Have been a New Zealand Citizen for at least 10 years

ORHold a current NZ Residency Class Visa and ideally have been a citizen of the UK, USA, Canada or Australia for at least 10 years
* Be eligible to obtain a Top Secret Special (TSS) security clearance  + Ordinarily, this means you'll have a 15 year checkable background in countries NZSIS Vetting can make meaningful and reliable checks.
