Data Analyst
We’re looking for a Hybrid - Tableau & Analytics Contractor for our client. If you have 7-10 years of experience in Tableau, SQL, Snowflake, Agile/Scrum and have Healthcare, medical device, pharma, or regulated industry experience then this is a great opportunity to grow your career with a company known for excellence.
What You'll Do
- In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders and data teams to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Responsibilities include building new Tableau dashboards from the ground up, optimizing existing reports for performance and usability, and troubleshooting data or visualization issues as they arise.
- The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of data structures, proficiency in SQL, and experience applying best practices in dashboard design and user experience.
- This is a hands-on role suited for a problem-solver who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and is passionate about turning data into decision-making tools.
What You Bring
- 6–9 years total experience (BA) OR 4–7 years (MBA)
- 3+ years of hands-on Tableau development
- Clearly explain how they built Tableau dashboards from scratch
- Strong SQL skills (complex queries, joins, aggregations, performance tuning)
- Experience working with Snowflake
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Discuss optimizing performance (extracts vs. live connections, data modeling, indexing, query tuning)
- Demonstrate stakeholder engagement experience (requirements gathering, translating business needs)
- Speak confidently about data structures and relational databases
