IT Project Manager - Marlborough, MA

Overview

IPG Photonics Corporation, the leader in high-power fiber lasers and amplifiers used in materials processing and other diverse applications, is looking for a Project Manager who will facilitate the delivery of a multitude of IT-related projects by working with a staff of professionals from ERP Applications Support, Infrastructure/Networking, and Security teams. • Create detailed project plans, communication plans, and all standard project documentation to ensure the project team's organization.
• Conduct weekly project meetings to ensure deadlines are met and the projects are on target.
• Lead cross-functional and cross-regional teams when required.
• Escalate issues and risks to appropriate stakeholders and work to resolve them.
• Create weekly status reports of projects for Management Review.
• Work with Resource Managers to ensure resources for the project team are secured.
• Translate business needs into technical needs.
• Communicate effectively with production and manufacturing departments to ensure proactive support and administration, including support for new product introductions.
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships; meet customer needs.
• Provide exceptional customer service and convey competence with end-to-end understanding.
• Document current functionality and process flows, and suggest areas for improvement.

• 3+ years of experience in IT.
• 3 years of Project Management experience or PPM certification.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience implementing CRM, ERP, and manufacturing systems.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment and business system analysis.
• Experience with Infrastructure and Security project management.
• Adept in Excel, Word, and Visio.
• MS Project or other project management tool experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and work with a sense of urgency for rapid issue resolution.
• Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3 years of M&A (Mergers & Acquisitions) experience.

MA: $93,039 - $123,277

Pay Range: The pay range on this posting applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location posted, the applicable range could differ. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
