Principal System Administrator

As Principal System Administrator, you will be supporting a Raytheon Special Access Program based in Tewksbury, MA.

Build, maintain, and secure Information Technology systems and directly support customer mission‑critical capabilities.

Partner and work with program developers and system engineers to research issues, determine root causes and implement solutions to system problems.

Collaborate and work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements.

Systems are operational 24x7 and occasionally require work effort beyond standard work hours.

Must be able to support occasional after‑hour maintenance and on‑call support and must be able to lift to 35 pounds in support of hardware installations.

Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or a master’s degree and minimum of 3 years of prior relevant experience.

Must have an active DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification (or higher) on start date.

Experience using VMWare vCenter, vSphere, ESX and/or other virtual computing methods.

Must have Windows and/or Red Hat Linux experience.

Experience with NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, DFARS and/or DoD/RMF.

Experience with data storage, NAS, and SAN technologies and solutions.

Experience with Active Directory, VMware, administration, backup and recovery.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and troubleshoot problems with efficiency.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD – 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
