Role Overview
Senior Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) II – 100% onsite at MARLBOROUGH, Massachusetts. Requires U.S. citizenship and a current DoD Secret clearance. Must obtain a DoD 8570.01-M IAM Level III certification (CISSP, CISM, GSLC, or CCISO) within six months of hire.
What You Will Do- Conduct briefings and presentations for multiple business levels.
- Serve as a subject‑matter expert for designated tools, ensuring alignment with company standard solutions.
- Develop, implement, and support technical standards while balancing program and mission needs.
- Provide strategic direction to drive technological innovation.
- Collaborate with architecture teams to design and develop secure, compliant technical solutions for deployment.
- Conduct technical solution evaluations, gap analyses, and risk assessments for new technologies.
- Advise on customer discussions, negotiations, approval requests, and related tasks.
- Capture efficiencies, cost offsets, and savings to enable competitive advantage.
- Lead cybersecurity projects and initiatives with cost‑benefit and risk management analysis.
- Support enterprise and business initiatives to evolve technology for supported programs.
- Support the organization’s vision, strategy, and goals.
- Travel as needed (up to 10%).
- University degree or equivalent experience with at least 8 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with at least 5 years of experience.
- Experience in cyber / systems security or network architecture/technology.
- Experience understanding and implementing compliance regulations such as NISPOM, DAAPM, JAFAN, ICD, FAA, HIPAA, and other government regulations.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance.
- Experience with change management or architectural governance.
- Ability to tailor technical discussions to diverse audiences, create security whitepapers, and develop concepts of operations.
- Experience with information security COTS applications (endpoint security, SIEM, vulnerability management, encryption, antivirus).
- Experience with project management and collaboration tools (SharePoint, MS Project, JIRA, Azure Dev Ops).
- Experience with SIEM tools.
- Understanding of enterprise architectural frameworks (TOGAF, DoDAF).
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Rancher, Docker).
- Experience with virtualization (VMWare, Nutanix).
- Familiarity with cloud architecture, service categories, and deployment models.
Salary range: 107,500 USD – 204,500 USD. Eligible for medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term and long‑term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, scholar program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Additional benefits may vary by business unit and collective‑bargaining status. This role is U.S.
