Range from $80,000 to $158,000, depending on location, experience, and other factors.
Overview:
Seeking a mid‑to‑senior level Dev Ops Administrator with 6‑10 years of experience, specializing in automation, security, Dev Ops, and monitoring solutions across hybrid environments, including Azure preferred and on‑premises infrastructure.
- Mid to Senior Tools Administrator (6‑10 years’ experience)
- Proven experience delivering automation, security, Dev Ops and monitoring solutions across hybrid environments, including both cloud (Azure preferred) and on‑premises infrastructure.
- Expertise in engineering and deploying automation workflows using the Ansible Automation Platform, with a strong understanding of infrastructure‑as‑code principles and orchestration strategies.
- Hands‑on experience with Git Hub Actions for CI/CD pipeline development, including workflow automation, secrets management, and integration with security and compliance tools.
- Strong understanding of Dev Sec Ops practices, including integrating security checks into CI/CD pipelines, managing policy‑as‑code, and automating compliance validation.
- Proficiency in developing Ansible playbooks and roles to automate provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment across diverse environments.
- Experience with administering Dev Sec Ops Tools like Git Hub, Jenkins, Sonar Qube, Artifactory and Ansible Automation Platform at Enterprise level.
- Ability to analyze performance data to identify trends, bottlenecks and root causes, with a solid grasp of KPIs and their impact on system and application health.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, including log analysis, system diagnostics and root cause identification across distributed systems and microservices architectures.
- Familiarity with modern application architectures, including containerized workloads (Docker, Kubernetes), cloud‑native services and database technologies.
- Scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash or Power Shell to extend Ansible capabilities, integrate with APIs and automate operational tasks.
- Experience using Red Hat Linux as a Dev Ops environment.
- Strong problem‑solving skills to diagnose and resolve performance issues quickly.
- Demonstrated skills in planning, building, and supporting scalable applications.
- Provide solution/consultation to implement continuous exploration, continuous integration, continuous deployment, continuous testing, and continuous monitoring and release automation solutions for all sized products.
- Create reference architecture for Dev Ops build & release automation implementation.
- Conduct discovery workshops with customers to understand the product's current state and unearth potential issues. Implement the Dev Ops / Dev Sec Ops maturity assessment framework and create operating models for subsequent Dev Ops / Dev Sec Ops adoption.
- Analyze emerging build and release automation trends. Define reusable solutions for build & release automation which can be leveraged across customers.
- Provide solutions to implement enterprise infrastructure automation solutions for environment provisioning.
- Help develop CI‑CD / Dev Ops Practices, Tools, platforms | Build solutions and frameworks / POVs for different technologies / domain.
- Implement and maintain Dev Ops / Dev Sec Ops tool chains for both centralized and federated Dev Ops.
- Coach the team to ensure Dev Ops adoption. Coach engineering teams on the new Ways of Working for improved route to live.
- Conduct training workshops on CI‑CD/Dev Ops and related roles to teams and other stakeholders.
- Help the customer adopt the defined engagement model to maximize benefits.
- Anchor the Dev Ops / Dev Sec Ops solution for large RFP's. Participate in the practice sales initiative for opportunity shaping and closure.
