- Oversee Jira user accounts and permissions, including onboarding and offboarding to EIM/AD groups.
- Ensure consistency and standardization across unclassified and IS Jira projects.
- Maintain and update synchronization automation for configurations and issues.
- Perform regular system maintenance.
- Provide direct user support, resolve issues, answer questions, and provide training.
- Design, implement, and maintain workflows, permissions, and project structures.
- Assist with Jira system upgrades.
- Manage integrations with Confluence, Git Lab, and other Dev Ops platforms.
- Implement customizations and enhancement requests using plugins such as Structure, Project Configurator, Script Runner, and JSU Automation.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and queries.
- Create and maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and user guides.
- Monitor system performance and proactively address issues.
- Develop and maintain scripts to automate processes or enhance functionality.
- Refactor existing implementations according to approved software development best practices.
- Collaborate with Radar Digital Product Line programs and the Platform Engineering team in a shared server environment.
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
- Experience as a Jira Administrator, including configuring workflows, permissions, and issue types to meet project requirements.
- Experience in Jira automation features and scripting languages such as Groovy (for Script Runner) or JavaScript.
- Experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes, especially related to scripting languages.
- Experience with Jira dashboards and the Structure plugin.
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Git and Git Lab.
- Experience with Agile and Scrum principles for supporting workflows and team processes within Jira.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government-issued Interim Secret security clearance prior to the start date.
- U.S. citizenship is required because only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Demonstrates expertise in Jira Administration, including configuring workflows, permissions, and issue types, while leveraging automation features and scripting languages. Proficient in managing integrations with Dev Ops platforms and maintaining system performance through regular maintenance and user support.
