Logistics Supervisor

Hoerbiger is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to lead daily warehouse and material flow operations in our manufacturing environment. You will oversee receiving, inventory control, shipping, and internal material movements to ensure on-time production and customer deliveries. Key duties include scheduling and assigning work to logistics staff, optimizing space and material handling, maintaining ERP data accuracy, and coordinating with production, purchasing, and quality.

You will drive safety, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives while monitoring KPIs, resolving shipment issues, and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day warehouse, inventory, receiving, and shipping operations
• Schedule, train, and supervise logistics team members
• Ensure accurate ERP transactions and inventory records
• Coordinate with production and purchasing to meet material and delivery requirements
• Monitor and improve KPIs such as on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, and freight cost
• Implement and enforce safety, 5
• S, and housekeeping standards
• Resolve shipment, carrier, and documentation issues
• Support continuous improvement and lean initiatives in material flow and logistics
