The Fountain Group is seeking a Construction Project Lead for a prominent client. This position is located in Marlborough, MA
.

Job Description:
Pay: $39-$45/hour
• Shift: Hybrid – Onsite 2 days a week (Tuesday and Wednesday)
• Duration: 90-days to start – potential for temp-to-perm based on performance and budget.

Overview

Oversee the scheduling of, coordination of, review and approval of, all Architectural and Engineering construction documents submitted by developers and/or their architects hired by the organization. Ensure they maintain the integrity of the Specifications for New Store projects.

Responsibilities
  • Receive, manage all A&E drawing submittals, schedule and distribute to outside consultants for project review for all new store brands. Ensure A&E reviews are done correctly and on time. Train and manage external project review consultants; create and distribute review reminder documents to update information for reviews.
  • Manage outside consultants hired for REH project site surveys and HVAC M1 plans. Act as liaison between landlords, developers, architects, engineers, general contractors, equipment vendors, and internal managers. Review consultant pricing and invoicing for related AE consultant assignments.
  • Answer daily questions from architects, engineers, external project review vendors, the company’s MODs and PMs. Provide support to other divisions and upper management as required.
  • Interface with landlords, developers, and architects regarding A&E review issues and conducts meetings when necessary with landlord architects and consultants to resolve issues.
  • Arrange to have REH project site surveys scheduled and completed; receive, review, and comment on site survey packages. Receive finished site survey packages and distribute as required.
  • Maintain the integrity and update Specifications Manuals and MEP sample sets on an annual basis.
  • Interface with Store Planning Department on criteria drawing and specification details. Review preliminary and final plans for miscellaneous projects.
  • Assist as required in Special Projects, Store Remodels, Store Planning, Pre-Planning, Buying Office projects, etc.
  • Assists with the execution process for the construction of all new stores and expansion stores for all brands with an annual Capital Budget in excess of $.
Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

5+ years of experience within new construction, construction planning or project management required.

Retail construction experience is desired.

Must have strong computer and documentation skills.
