Contract Details- Position Type: Contract
- Contract Duration: 5 months (extension possible)
- Pay Rate: $19.00 $ 21.00 / Hour (USD)
- Shift / Schedule: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM, 9:00 AM 5:30 PM, or 10:30 AM 7:00 PM hiring manager is flexible on start time for the right candidate

Under general supervision, the Material Handler I will dismantle, adjust, rework, repair, and perform packaging of equipment according to assembly drawings, schematics, and procedures with a general understanding of compliance requirements. This role is responsible for maintaining quality and safety standards and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Organize and verify packaging components; perform instrument packaging in a safe and timely fashion per procedures or technical documents
- Complete and maintain quality and packaging documentation as required
- Comply with, participate in, and maintain 6S events and follow-ups
- Maintain and/or participate in daily management boards (if applicable)
- Assist with and complete inventory transactions
- Initiate proper disposition of defective parts using NCE process
- Accountable for inventory accuracy
- Accountable for daily completion of NCE process
- Able to work in a team environment
- Perform equipment maintenance as required
- Understand and comply with all work safety rules and regulations
- Participate in cross-training to meet schedule needs
- Work on special projects as requested
- Ability to work overtime to meet production schedule as needed
- Basic knowledge of hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, torque tools, crimpers, soldering, multi-meter, and oscilloscope
- Ability to read and follow assembly drawings, procedures, and schematics
- Ability to follow written procedures to maintain GMP compliance and ISO 13485 certification
- Basic computer knowledge of Microsoft Outlook
- Must be able to read and understand English
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally
- Detail oriented and accurate
- Flexible to work in multiple departments and functions
- Oracle or MRP/ERP experience preferred, but not necessary; comfortable on computers and inventory systems
- Basic knowledge of ORACLE and AGILE application preferred
- Knowledge of Excel preferred
- Warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred
- Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) knowledge a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- At least 1 year of manufacturing or warehouse experience
- Ability to stand for full shift
- Steel-toe safety shoes compliant with site-specific policies/procedures must be worn in designated areas
- PPE required: steel-toe boots
- Sit; use hands or fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Lifting/pushing/pulling and carrying products weighing up to 35 pounds
- Potential exposure to moving mechanical parts, vibration, and/or moderate noise levels
- Potential exposure to hazardous chemicals or other materials
- Typical warehouse attire is acceptable
- Pallet jacks/riders and forklifts are NOT required for this role
