The Manufacturing Technician I is responsible for testing, calibrating, and repairing production machines and related subassemblies to meet quality and efficiency standards in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities- Test, calibrate, and repair production machines and related subassemblies to written and/or oral specifications in a timely fashion.
- Responsible for meeting or exceeding quality and efficiency standards.
- Ensures quality and operation of work.
- Reads and interprets schematics and blueprints required to ensure proper calibration of machines.
- Timely and accurate testing and calibration of all electronic subassemblies and must clearly document results.
- Ensure that design, implementation, test and maintenance methods and/or processes are developed as well as executed in a manner which supports all Quality Standards.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Troubleshooting skills — a key competency for this role.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
- Ability to accurately document testing and calibration results.
- Knowledge of quality standards and ability to execute processes in compliance with them.
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
