HC - Nursing (Acute Care Local + Per Diem)

WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a contract assignment at a highly respected hospital in Marlborough, MA. This role is ideal for a clinically strong RN who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is confident caring for patients experiencing life‑threatening conditions.

  32 hrs | 4x8 Nights 10:45 PM – 7:15 AM | EOW (Fri/Sat) | EOH.
• Manage the care of adult and/or pediatric patients with critical, life‑threatening conditions requiring rapid assessment and high‑intensity interventions .
• Provide emotional support, education, and clear communication to patients and families during emergency situations .
• Collaborate closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary team, recognizing when early intervention is needed .
• Prepare patients for surgery, imaging, and diagnostic procedures .
• Perform essential emergency procedures including IV insertion, medication administration, blood draws, and airway support (intubation assistance ) .
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR .

Job Requirements:

• Active Massachusetts RN license required at submission
• Minimum 18 months of Emergency Room experience required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• BLS required
• ACLS required
• PALS required
