• Responsible for the planning, delivery and management of direct patient care utilizing the nursing process and adhering to standards of nursing practice.
• Utilizes the Nursing Process for the delivery and management of patient care from admission to discharge, appropriate to the developmental age of the patient population.
• Performs patient assessment and reassessment according to standard procedure.
• Develops and coordinates individual plan of care including discharge planning.
• Directs, supervises, coordinates and evaluates nursing care within the assigned clinical setting.
• Delegates appropriately to others in accordance with job description and competency level.

• Current Massachusetts nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS is a requirement for every RN unless Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is current, in addition to any unit-specific certifications and competencies.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) highly preferred.

• Thorough knowledge of the discipline of nursing.

Unless certification, licensure or registration is required, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for the above requirements. Department-specific competencies and their measurements will be developed and maintained in the individual departments. Competencies will be maintained and attached to the departmental job description and reviewed with position incumbents.

• Hiring Range: $38.65 - $78.34 per hour (final offer may vary based on experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity)
