At Helen of Troy, we embrace a flexible hybrid work model designed to support collaboration and productivity. For roles eligible for hybrid work, our standard schedule includes in-office collaboration from Tuesday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. The Compliance Specialist role is to submit testing for new products, product expirations, and material/process changes to meet market-specific testing requirements. The process will include reviewing and approving quotations to ensure costs are within the approved Compliance Budget, sample coordination, and filling out the Test request form.

Upload all active third-party lab test reports, Factory BOMs, and Regulatory Standards in the product database for records.

Work cross-functionally with Product Teams, Regulatory and Sales to support any compliance-related tasks and communicate any product issues/concerns. Build Documents of Conformity for all Beauty & Wellness products.

• Coordinate third‑party laboratory testing, including connecting suppliers, submitting test requests, securing and approving quotes, and managing ongoing lab relationships.
• Review, approve, and manage test reports, including revisions, uploads to the database, tracking historical testing, monitoring expirations, and planning quarterly retesting.
• Maintain accurate testing and compliance records to ensure all product claims and retail packaging claims are fully supported by third‑party testing.
• Partner with APO and product teams to identify market‑specific compliance requirements and ensure product safety considerations are addressed throughout product development and launch.
• Coordinate the review and approval of new and existing products, product manuals, and product literature to ensure compliance with applicable US and EU regulations and standards.
• Stay current on legislative changes, regulatory guidelines, and industry standards through ongoing research and participation in third‑party lab webinars.
• Lead cross‑functional collaboration during the product launch cycle and serve as the point of contact for product safety‑related customer inquiries.
• Manage compliance policies, SOPs, price sheets, and audit claims to confirm appropriate testing is in place.
• Establish and lead recurring meetings with third‑party labs to review testing projects, timelines, and outstanding issues.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and solve problems effectively.
• Ability to interpret technical information and communicate testing status, risks, and gaps.
• Ability to collaborate across functions and global time zones.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Bachelor s degree.
• 1-2 years of experience with consumer product
  /material safety compliance program management experience.
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast‑paced environment and a diverse range of products.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt to evolving priorities.
• Solid experience with Office Suite: MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
