Principal Specialist, Metrology Database Coordinator; Onsite

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute RTX Metrology Operations requirements.
• Maintain metrology infrastructure to meet development and test requirements.
• Support AS 9100/ISO 9001, ANSI Z540-1, ISO 17025 audits, and Government DCMA audits.
• Work closely with RTX Calibration vendor (Keysight Technologies) and RTX Metrology personnel to ensure compliance with Metrology Command Media for equipment calibration and property controls.
• Support monthly Metrology Metrics meetings with Database coordinators across RTX.
• Manage multiple daily issues for equipment calibration and repairs.

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree and minimum 3 years of experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance.
• 3+ years of experience in an engineering environment.
• 3+ years of experience in database management.
• Understanding of quality processes leading to successful certification with AS 9100/ISO 9001, ANSI Z540-1, ISO 17025.
• Database and data analysis skills to ensure accurate metrology support metrics are collected.

• Current U.S. government‑issued security clearance.
• Experience with Database Management Systems (RTX systems: SAP or PRISM and ARAMIS).
• Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.).
• Highly motivated self‑starter capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

USD 86,800 – 165,200, based on experience and qualifications.
