Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute RTX Metrology Operations requirements.
- Maintain metrology infrastructure to meet development and test requirements.
- Support AS 9100/ISO 9001, ANSI Z540-1, ISO 17025 audits, and Government DCMA audits.
- Work closely with RTX Calibration vendor (Keysight Technologies) and RTX Metrology personnel to ensure compliance with Metrology Command Media for equipment calibration and property controls.
- Support monthly Metrology Metrics meetings with Database coordinators across RTX.
- Manage multiple daily issues for equipment calibration and repairs.
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree and minimum 3 years of experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance.
- 3+ years of experience in an engineering environment.
- 3+ years of experience in database management.
- Understanding of quality processes leading to successful certification with AS 9100/ISO 9001, ANSI Z540-1, ISO 17025.
- Database and data analysis skills to ensure accurate metrology support metrics are collected.
- Current U.S. government‑issued security clearance.
- Experience with Database Management Systems (RTX systems: SAP or PRISM and ARAMIS).
- Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.).
- Highly motivated self‑starter capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Flexible work weeks: 9/80A, 5/40.
