About this role:
A Quality Technician III is responsible for the day-to-day activities associated with complaint devices. In this role, the CIS Quality Technician III manages daily operations involving returned complaint products and supports Engineers who conduct in-depth complaint analyses and investigations. This includes assisting with root cause analysis, returned product evaluations, and investigation closure for both BSC manufactured and OEM products. In addition to analytical support, this position is also responsible for receiving, processing, and shipping returned devices.
The Quality Technician III performs disinfection and triage of returned medical devices in accordance with BSC work instructions. Work Mode At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a onsite work model, requiring employees to be in our local office five days per week. Relocation Relocation assistance is not available for this position at this time. VISA Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment VISA for this position at this time Your responsibilities will include:
Disinfect returned medical devices in preparation for complaint investigation. Perform initial triage on returned devices. Perform returned product analysis: visual inspection, dimensional, mechanical, and electrical testing Maintain CIS laboratory in compliance with governing regulations and standards. Maintain work instructions related to the labs and returned products. Disposition returned product, including retention and storage of returned product according to documented procedures.
Maintain traceability of returned device location and status. Maintain disinfection laboratory in compliance with governing regulations and standards. Maintain test equipment used in labs Perform x-ray analysis for CIS and additional departments (R&D and DQA) Work is supervised and completed according to specific, documented instructions.
Required qualifications:
2-4 Years with High School Diploma and/or Equivalent experience, training, or apprenticeships Minimum Salary: $ 50232 Maximum Salary: $ 85384
