At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy . This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring employees to be in our local office Marlborough, MA at least three/four days per week.

As a Quality Engineering Co-op at Boston Scientific, you will have the opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in Design Quality Assurance (DQA), working alongside cross‑functional teams to support the development and maintenance of innovative medical devices. You will apply quality engineering principles to help ensure our products meet Boston Scientific, customer and regulatory requirements while contributing to our mission of advancing science for life and improving patient outcomes.

In this role, you will support the development, establishment and maintenance of quality engineering methodologies, systems and practices that meet Boston Scientific, customer and regulatory requirements. You will work as a Quality representative to improve awareness, visibility and communication of quality initiatives while supporting departmental, functional, site, divisional and corporate quality goals and priorities.

• Support Design Quality Assurance activities throughout the product life cycle, partnering with cross‑functional teams to help ensure products meet applicable quality and regulatory requirements.
• Support the implementation of quality assurances, design controls, process controls and corrective and preventive action (CAPA) systems designed to meet or exceed internal and external requirements.
• Serve as an effective team member in supporting quality disciplines, decisions and practices.
• Apply systematic problem‑solving methodologies to identify, prioritize, communicate and resolve quality issues.
• Support the development and execution of streamlined quality systems that effectively identify and resolve quality issues.
• Support design changes for commercialized products and document associated design verification activities.
• Evaluate and analyze post‑market complaint data to identify, escape potential product performance signals.
• Support complaint investigations and identify corrective and preventive activities that contribute to continuous improvement.
• Update and maintain risk management files and associated quality documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering and other cross‑functional partners to support design quality activities and ensure appropriate documentation of quality decisions.

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering with an expected graduation date by May 2027.
• Previous Boston Scientific co‑op experience within the Quality department.
• Knowledge of data analysis and interpretation tools.
