Primary Responsibilities
  • Performs theoretical and experimental scientific and technological investigation directed toward acquisition of new knowledge and supports principal scientific research.
  • Prepares comprehensive documented observations, analyses and interpretations of results, including technical reports, summaries, protocols and quantitative analyses.
  • Identifies, assesses and develops new scientific concepts/technologies in basic or applied research with significant business impact; documents research leading to patent disclosure or technological advancement.
  • Establishes fundamental understanding and structure‑property‑functional relationships of new materials and formulations to accelerate innovation and product development.
  • Participates in cross‑functional teams to drive new product development from concept shaping and validation to scale‑up and commercialization.
  • Solves problems using multiple analytical and functional test procedures to identify and characterize material development barriers.
  • Supports root cause investigations (RCI) for solving critical technical challenges on an accelerated time scale.
Role Overview

The Technical Assistant will be responsible for the development of next‑generation spin‑on photolithography materials for semiconductor applications, working closely with R&D materials, R&D formulation, development engineering and commercial teams to develop and commercialize industry‑leading photolithography materials.

Required Qualifications
  • Proven track record of safe laboratory practices and methodology.
  • BS/MS degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science or related field.
  • Experience in material science, synthesis, formulations or product development.
  • Experience in photo‑patterning field and fabrication laboratory is a plus.
  • Experience and knowledge in computational calculation and data management is a plus.
  • US citizen or green card holder.
