An Outside Sales Representative (OSR) drives revenue by meeting clients in person (or virtually) to sell products/services, build relationships, and close deals, requiring travel, strong interpersonal skills, and self-discipline to manage territories, generate leads, present solutions, negotiate contracts, and meet sales targets, acting as the face of the company in the field.

Core Responsibilities
  • Client Engagement: Meet with prospects and existing customers to understand needs, present solutions, and provide product demos/samples.
  • Lead Generation: Identify new business opportunities through directories, events, networking, and referrals to build a consistent pipeline.
  • Sales Process Management: Prepare quotes, negotiate terms, finalize contracts, and ensure smooth post-sale support.
  • Territory Management: Travel within a designated sales territory, managing schedules and maximizing face-to-face interactions.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records in CRM databases and update client information.
  • Goal Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales quotas.

    Ability to build rapport, listen actively, and persuade.
  • Self-Motivation & Discipline: Manage time and work independently in the field.
  • Product Knowledge: Deep understanding of offerings, competitors, and market trends.

  • Primarily field-based with significant travel.
  • Requires working independently with high levels of autonomy.
  • Success is often tied to achieving personal sales targets, offering potential for high earnings through commissions.

This is an onsite role, remote is not an option
