Channel Strategy Manager – Wellness Department (Sales for Wellness Brands: Honeywell, PUR, Braun, and Vicks)
Location & Hybrid ScheduleMarlborough, MA – Hybrid (3 days onsite from Tuesday to Thursday; remote on Mondays and Fridays)
OverviewJoin the Wellness Team at Helen of Troy and help shape how our wellness brands reach consumers and retail partners. As the key pivot between Brand and Sales teams, you will develop, execute, and monitor channel strategies, support merchandising, promotions, and commercial planning, and ensure successful line reviews and joint business planning.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and refine channel strategies at the category and enterprise level for the wellness portfolio.
- Collaborate with Category Management, Brand Marketing, Innovation, and Supply Chain to align strategies and commercial plans.
- Translate strategy into assortment, shelving, pricing, and promotion guidance for sales and cross‑functional partners.
- Track and surface channel risks (e.g., price matching, promo overlap) and recommend solutions.
- Provide customer and shopper insights to influence upstream brand planning and translate brand strategies into commercial priorities for sales.
- Support new product development by embedding retailer requirements (pack size, margin expectations, reset timing) into NPD discussions.
- Guide customer teams on feasibility, ensuring proposals meet profitability requirements.
- Prepare brand‑aligned selling narratives, category insights, and recommendations for customer line reviews and presentations.
- Support Joint Business Plans with brand strategy, category framing, and commercial guidance.
- Leverage syndicated data (Circana/IRI, Nielsen) to monitor performance and inform shelf productivity and merchandising effectiveness.
- Collaborate with Sales Ops to enforce the universal pricing policy, recommend process improvements, and support allocation scenarios.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in MS&P, merchandising, or category management in a consumer packaged goods or mass‑retail environment.
- Strong experience with syndicated data.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience supporting retailer‑facing initiatives such as planogram resets, line reviews, and joint business plans.
- Knowledgeable about P&L; able to understand and manage key drivers, including pricing, trade spend, and margin optimization.
- Ability to travel domestically up to 20%.
- Authorized to work full‑time in the United States.

Base pay range (Massachusetts): $95,000.00 – $ annually (subject to location, experience, skill level, and performance).
