The role reports to the North America Resin Modality Leader and is part of the North American Resin Modality team located in Marlborough, MA, and is an on‑site position.

  • You will be part of the North American Resin Modality team providing technical support, training, and troubleshooting for chromatography technologies used by Cytiva’s customers in the large‑scale purification of therapeutic biologics.
  • You will interact with and support sales, marketing, field service, Fast Trak training, Bioprocess R&D, and other parts of the organization to help position Cytiva chromatography technologies during pre‑ and post‑sales activities that translate technical application consultation into defending and expanding market share.
Who You Are

  • A degree in a life sciences discipline that includes coursework in biochemistry, molecular biology, and analytical methods.

  • Hands‑on practical experience with large‑scale chromatography equipment. Expertise with Cytiva’s ÄKTA process systems, chromatography columns (BPG, Chromaflow, Axichrom), and UNICORN software is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute and communicate in a multi‑disciplinary team environment across geographies, departments, and disciplines.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements
  • This is a customer‑facing role; many interactions will not require travel. However, some travel to customer sites within North America may be required from time to time, and occasional international travel may be required for corporate internal meetings with manager approval.
  • Travel to customer sites within reasonable driving distance from Cytiva’s Marlborough site and travel requiring rental cars for trips involving flights will require a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to safely lift 50 lbs. and move wheeled equipment up to 3000 lbs. with assistance is required.
  • Familiarity with laboratory chemical and safety compliance practices and personal protective equipment is required.
