Security Officer Roving Patrol –
Marlborough, MA

As an unarmed officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. You will bring a caring, reliable approach, work with integrity, and contribute to a team that values agility, innovation, and people‑first service.

Pay Rate: $19.79 / Hour

Fri 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM
Sat 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM
Sun 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM

• Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and staff activity, and communicate with site contacts regarding security‑related concerns and/or operational issues.
• Support a professional environment by following post orders, documenting daily activities, and assisting with requests from staff, patients, and visitors as appropriate.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
