Salary Range: $24.00 to $28.00 hourly

Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to support the day-to-day maintenance operations of our residential properties. This role is responsible for completing work orders, performing preventative maintenance, responding to resident requests, and ensuring properties are safe, clean, and well-maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and corrective maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, and appliance repairs
- Complete work orders in a timely and professional manner while maintaining high customer service standards
- Prepare apartments for move-ins and turnovers, including inspections and repairs
- Conduct preventative maintenance to reduce future repairs and ensure building systems operate efficiently
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed, including after-hours on-call rotations
- Maintain common areas, grounds, and mechanical rooms in clean and safe condition
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors when specialized repairs are required
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and local building codes
- Accurately document work performed and materials used
- Communicate effectively with property management staff and residents
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of maintenance experience in residential or property management environments preferred
- Strong working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general building maintenance
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve maintenance issues independently
- EPA Certification and HVAC experience preferred but not required
Strong customer service and communication skills - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
Schedule & Compensation:
- Full-time position
- On-call rotation required
- Competitive pay based on experience, with opportunities for overtime
