Position Summary:

The Telecommunications Apprentice will participate in the installation or maintenance and inspection of telecommunication systems and associate process alongside a licensed Telecom Technician

• Regular attendance at assigned location that may include office or other project sites
• Follow blueprints and building plans to meet the needs of clients
• Assist with installation of cable supports, through floor and wall sleeves, fire stopping materials
• Assist with installation relays, cabinets, network switches
• Assists with the termination of data, voice, coaxial, control, and fiber optic cables
• Assist with installation cable trays above and below floors
• Ability to work in small spaces
• Test cables to TIA/EIA level II standards with cable analyzer and fiber test equipment

High School Diploma or relevant work experience 0-4 years of Field Experience, trade school or apprenticeship OSHA 10 certification
