Endless Energy is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Manager to lead our growing residential service department. This role is responsible for overseeing daily service operations, supporting and developing technicians, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, and driving department performance. The position is a hands‑on leadership role that manages service technicians, provides field support for complex service calls, conducts training and ride‑alongs, and ensures the department operates efficiently while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Lead, coach, and develop a team of HVAC Service Technicians and Preventive Maintenance Technicians
- Conduct ride‑alongs and field training to support technician growth and performance
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting assistance on complex service calls
- Collaborate with Dispatch and Operations teams to maximize scheduling efficiency
- Monitor department productivity, customer satisfaction, callback rates, and overall performance
- Conduct regular team meetings, one‑on‑one coaching sessions, and performance reviews
- Assist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training new team members
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations
- Support warranty claims, parts procurement, and technical documentation processes
- Resolve escalated customer concerns professionally and effectively
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and department growth
- Participate in the on‑call rotation and provide support during peak demand periods
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement
- Minimum 5 years of residential HVAC service experience
- Minimum 2 years of leadership, supervisory, or lead technician experience preferred
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Experience servicing heat pumps, ductless systems, central air conditioning, furnaces, and boilers
- EPA Universal Certification required
Excellent communication, leadership, and coaching skills - Strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities
- Comfortable using mobile technology and service management software
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Willingness to participate in the on‑call rotation
