Position:
Software Engineer – Surveillance and Warning Systems
- Participate in collaborative, integrated product teams.
- Employ agile software development techniques to design, develop, test, and integrate complex software and systems solutions for aerospace and defense applications.
- Assist in the requirements, design, development, and testing of real‑time embedded software, application software, and tools, including development of new work products or enhancement of existing applications and systems.
- Work collaboratively with Systems and Integration Test Engineers to analyze, implement, and test system integration.
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in software development, integration, or testing using C++, C#, Java or a similar language.
- Strong problem‑solving, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Desire and ability to learn new technologies and tools.
- Experience working in an Agile environment such as Scrum, Scrum@Scale, SAFe, Test‑Driven Development, or Dev Sec Ops .
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment with time‑critical requirements.
- Experience contributing to a team environment for developing creative solutions to difficult technical problems.
- Experience with integrated development tools such as Azure, Git, Atlassian Suite, Jenkins, Eclipse, and Ansible.
- Experience working in a continuous integration/continuous development pipeline.
- Knowledge of Red‑Hat and/or Linux operating systems.
- Exposure to open systems architectures and modular design principles.
- Competitive salary range: $68,900 – $131,100 USD.
