Position Overview
We are seeking software engineers for the Marlborough, MA team to support a range of products, including Surveillance and Warning systems, within our aerospace and defense software portfolio.
What You Will Do- Participate in collaborative, integrated product teams using agile software development techniques.
- Develop, test, and integrate complex software and systems solutions for aerospace and defense applications.
- Assist and participate in the requirements, design, development, and testing of real‑time embedded software, application software, and tools, including the development of new work products or enhancement of existing applications and systems.
- Contribute as a software team member and potentially lead a small software team.
- Collaboratively work with Systems and Integration Test Engineers to analyze, implement, and test system-level functionality.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant industry experience in software development, integration, and/or testing using C++, C#, Java, or similar object‑oriented languages.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued Secret security clearance (only U.S. citizens are eligible).
- Strong problem‑solving, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Experience working in an Agile environment with Scrum, SAFe, Test‑Driven Development, or Dev Sec Ops practices.
- Desire and ability to learn new technologies and tools.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment with time‑critical requirements.
- Experience contributing to a team environment to develop creative solutions for difficult technical problems.
- Experience with integrated development tools such as Azure, Git, Atlassian Suite, Jenkins, Eclipse, and Ansible.
- Experience working in a continuous integration/continuous delivery pipeline.
- Knowledge of Red Hat/Linux operating systems.
- Exposure to Open Systems Architectures and modular design principles.
- Competitive salary range: USD 86,800 – 165,200.
