Performing general warehouse activities including: (1) accurately receiving and unloading trailers, physical breakdown of merchandise, building and stretch wrapping of pallets; (2) shuttling merchandise from receiving to shipping, laydown and storage areas; (3) loading of product into shipping trailers; (4) coordinating inbound and outbound storage freight; (5) sorting and distributing pallets to be utilized within the warehouse; (6) using hand held units to verify merchandise being distributed;

and (7) operating powered equipment including: forklift, pallet jack, tugger and clamp attachments
** Responsibilities
* ** General warehouse duties to support laydown, receiving, crossdock, shipping, pallets, storage and QA areas of the distribution center. Ability to operate forklift and other powered equipment essential to the position.
* Consult with the shift supervisor and/or department lead to determine daily work assignments based on volume. Communicate among peers. Adjust work assignments as directed by supervisor and/or lead when needed.
* Work with new hires and temporary associates on the proper procedures for handling freight safely.
* Systemic control of all products through the use of the Warehouse Management System (WMS). Ensure all pallet movements are scanned in and out of location maintaining an accurate audit trail.
* Maintain a safe and professional work environment.
* Display good communication skills and ability to work well with others.
* Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision.
* Maintains all Distribution Center policies and procedures
* Performs other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
* Available to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
** Qualifications
* ** Bilingual preferred, English fluency required
* Previous power equipment experience preferred
* Basic computer and data entry skills
* At least 18 years of age.
* Preferred high school diploma or equivalent
** Environmental Job Conditions
*** Frequently requires lifting objects up to 30 pounds. May require lifting and moving heavy and/or awkward objects greater than 30 pounds with assistance.
* Located in an environment with exposure to changing temperatures, including heat and cold, noise and dust.
* Perform repetitive, dexterous movements related to computer use and data entry
