The Role at a Glance

As an Accounting Clerk, you will be the backbone of our daily financial operations. While your primary focus will be mastering Accounts Payable, you will also gain valuable exposure to Billing, Accounts Receivable, and Month-End Close processes. This is an ideal role for someone who is detail-obsessed and ready to build a professional career from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable (Primary Focus)
  • Process and accurately code vendor invoices to the General Ledger (GL).
  • Match invoices to contracts and secure necessary disbursement approvals.
  • Prepare and execute weekly check runs and ACH payments.
  • Perform regular vendor statement reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
Billing & AR Support
  • Assist in preparing and distributing customer invoices.
  • Apply incoming payments and help maintain the AR aging report.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies.
Departmental Growth
  • Support the team during the month-end close process.
  • Maintain organized digital and physical financial records.
  • Take on special projects as you grow into the role.
What You Bring to the Table
  • Education:

    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred (strong related coursework will be considered).
  • Experience:

    0-2 years of experience (internships and academic projects count).
  • Tech Savvy:
    Proficient in Advanced MS Excel functions. You should be comfortable with sorting and filtering; knowledge of VLOOKUPs and SUMIFS is a major plus.
  • The "Soft Skills":
    High level of accuracy, a proactive mindset, and the ability to communicate effectively with vendors and teammates.
  • Location:

    Ability to work onsite daily at our Marlton, NJ
