People Share has an opening for a Settlement Coordinator in Medford, NJ. Previous title agency experience or experience with Soft Pro software is highly preferred.

Title: Settlement Coordinator

Location: Medford, NJ 08055

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Type: 4 month contract-to-hire

Pay: $29-32/hr

As a Settlement Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless transaction processes and outstanding client experiences.

The Settlement Coordinator will be responsible for managing all aspects of the settlement process, including preparing documentation, coordinating with clients and vendors, and ensuring compliance with legal and organizational requirements. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review settlement documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Coordinate with clients, attorneys, lenders, and other parties to facilitate smooth transactions.
  • Maintain and organize client files, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete.
  • Schedule and manage settlement appointments, providing timely updates to all stakeholders.
  • Resolve issues or discrepancies that may arise during the settlement process.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company policies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve workflow and enhance client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in real estate, title, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of settlement and escrow procedures is a plus.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Gmail.
  • Soft Pro experience a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
