English Teacher K-5

About the Role:

Sylvan Learning Center in Marlton, NJ is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to inspire K-5 students in a supportive, personalized learning environment. If you're passionate about helping young learners build confidence and literacy skills, this is the opportunity for you! Our center is open the following days & times:
Monday - Thursday: 4pm-8pm Saturday: 9am-1:00pm.

• Deliver engaging, personalized English instruction to students in grades K-5
• Track student progress and communicate updates to parents and center staff
• Implement Sylvan's proven curriculum and instructional materials effectively
• Create a positive, encouraging classroom environment that motivates young learners
• Collaborate with center directors and fellow educators to support student success

• Teaching Certification
• Experience teaching or tutoring elementary-age students (K-5)
• Strong knowledge of phonics, reading comprehension, and early writing skills
• NJ teaching certification is a plus but not required
• Patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic approach to working with children
• Strong communication skills with students, parents, and staff
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to student achievement

• There are no lesson plans to make and no papers to grade
• Fully prepared lesson plans and materials are provided
• Flexible schedules for teachers
• No PTA meetings
