Music Teacher

Music & Arts seeks a passionate Music Teacher to provide high quality private and group lessons in our retail store. You will teach students of varying ages and skill levels, create individualized lesson plans, prepare students for recitals and school performances, and track progress. Partner with store staff to support rentals, repairs, and accessories that enhance learning. Ideal candidates have strong performance or teaching experience, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to student success in a collaborative, education focused retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide private and group music lessons to students of various ages and levels
• Develop and follow individualized lesson plans and learning goals
• Prepare students for recitals, performances, and school events
• Assess and document student progress and adjust instruction as needed
• Collaborate with store staff to support rentals, repairs, and accessory needs
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress
• Uphold Music & Arts teaching standards and store policies
