Engineer to Project Manager Track – Transportation | Marlton, NJ | Full Time Buchart Horn is seeking a motivated and growth-oriented Civil Engineer to join our Transportation Strategic Business Unit team. This role is designed for individuals with 3+ years of experience who are ready to take the next step toward project management while continuing to build strong technical  this position, you’ll support the design and delivery of transportation and infrastructure projects while gaining hands-on experience in project coordination, client interaction, and overall project execution.

You’ll work closely with Buchart Horn’s Project Managers and Senior Leaders to develop the skills needed to fast track into a Project Manager role.

What You’ll Do:

Learn from experienced Project Managers Develop Project Management skills such as: scope development, scheduling, and budgeting

Perform and review engineering calculations for roadway and transportation projects

Develop plans, profiles, and design drawings using Micro Station, and related design tools

Work along with Project Managers in day-to-day project execution and client communication

Participate in client and internal meetings to support project planning and delivery

Respond to RFIs, review submittals, edit specifications, and contribute to cost estimates

Conduct site visits, field reviews, and assist with construction-phase services

Participate in QA/QC reviews to ensure quality and compliance with standards

Work with Buchart Horn’s Business Development Unit supporting proposal development

Fast track learning to increase responsibility for project components and coordination

What We’re Looking For:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university

EIT certification required3+ years of experience in transportation or civil engineering

Actively working toward Professional Engineer (PE) licensure

Proficiency in Micro Station, and Microsoft Office Suite Working knowledge of state DOT design standards and AASHTO guidelines

Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across teams
