The Senior Financial Systems Analyst is responsible for the administration, integration, and ongoing support of the organization’s financial systems, including Budgeting/Planning, Cost Accounting, Enterprise Data Management (EDM), General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and Accounts Payable applications. This role ensures the accuracy, integrity, and availability of financial and operational data through system maintenance, interface management, reconciliations, and reporting.
The Senior Financial Systems Analyst serves as the primary liaison between Finance, Information Technology, system vendors, and managed service providers. The role leads system upgrades, testing, issue resolution, and continuous process improvements to support budgeting, financial reporting, costing, and accounting functions across the health system.
Position Responsibilities- Maintain and support financial applications including Budgeting/Planning, Cost Accounting, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable, and EDM systems. Perform system configuration, table maintenance, chart of accounts updates, security role coordination, and master data management in partnership with IT and Finance teams.
- Manage and monitor system interfaces and integrations between source systems and financial applications. Troubleshoot interface failures, reconcile inbound and outbound data, and coordinate corrections with IT, vendors, and upstream data owners to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Support General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and Accounts Payable systems by assisting with system updates, account mappings, asset table maintenance, and validation of financial transactions. Partner with Accounting to troubleshoot posting issues and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Act as primary liaison with system vendors and managed services teams. Lead testing and validation for system upgrades, patches, and enhancements. Document system changes, coordinate user acceptance testing, and ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
- Provide training and support to financial systems users.
- Required Experience: 3 to 5 years in a Finance department, preferably with budget experience. Basic understanding of budget system functionality and overall financial statement knowledge. Ability to work well with other employees as a service/support role at all levels throughout the health system.

BS degree in Accounting/Finance or related field. - Training / Certification / Licensure: Excellent organizational, analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and prioritize work assignments. Proficient working knowledge of all MS Office software applications.
Annual Salary: $70,935 – $110,268 (actual salary will vary based on applicant’s experience and internal equity).
