So, What’s This Job All About?
We’re hiring experienced ABA Therapists / RBTs to join our Behavior Stabilization Program — a highly specialized team that supports students with intensive behavioral needs. These are students who’ve been removed from traditional classrooms due to behaviors like aggression, elopement, or self-injury. Your job? Help stabilize those behaviors and teach replacement skills so they can return to a less restrictive setting.
This role is for professionals who are calm under pressure, confident in crisis, and ready to make a real impact — even on the toughest days.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Implement intensive behavior intervention plans developed by BCBAs
- Provide 1:1 support for students with severe behavioral challenges
- Use proactive and reactive strategies (including physical interventions when needed)
- Assist students in developing communication, social, and coping skills
- Work in stabilization rooms, home, or community settings depending on the need
- Track data, complete documentation, and contribute to case discussions
- Model behavior strategies and coach new staff when assigned
- Provide personal care support (toileting, hygiene, feeding) when needed
Why This Role Matters
Some students don’t just need support — they need stabilization. You’ll be one of the few people able to help them access learning, safety, and progress. Your ability to stay calm, professional, and consistent in high-stress moments has the power to change someone’s life.
- You have 1–3+ years of experience working with individuals with developmental or behavioral challenges
- You’ve worked in crisis-level ABA settings (e.g. self-injury, aggression, elopement)
- You’re RBT-certified or willing to become certified (preferred but not required)
- You’re calm, patient, and confident in using behavior plans and de-escalation strategies
- You’re collaborative, reliable, and ready to jump in with a team that has your back
- You’re open to personal care duties when needed (feeding, hygiene, etc.)
- You’re looking for meaningful, challenging work — not just a job
