We are seeking several Desktop Support Technicians to provide off-hours IT support across multiple hospital and medical office locations throughout South Jersey. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced desktop support professional who enjoys hands-on technical work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
This role will support workstation deployments, hardware refreshes, imaging, break/fix support, and end-user troubleshooting while ensuring minimal disruption to clinical and business operations. Candidates should be comfortable traveling between multiple healthcare facilities and working independently during evening, overnight, or weekend shifts.
Location: South Jersey (Multiple Healthcare Locations)
Schedule: Multiple openings available on 2nd Shift, 3rd Shift, and Weekend Shifts
Work Environment: Onsite | Hospital & Medical Office Settings
Duration: 6+ Month Contract (Possible Extension)
Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, image, and install Windows workstations and laptops
- Provide break/fix support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, Office 365, and connectivity issues while minimizing user downtime
- Set up and configure new workstations and user equipment
- Support Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office 365 applications
- Perform equipment replacements, upgrades, moves, and technology refresh projects
- Assist with basic network troubleshooting, including connectivity, cabling, and workstation network issues
- Maintain accurate asset inventory and deployment documentation
- Travel between multiple hospital and medical office locations throughout South Jersey
- Deliver professional customer service while supporting healthcare staff in a clinical environment
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on Desktop Support or IT Support experience
- Experience deploying, imaging, and configuring Windows workstations
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office 365
- Experience troubleshooting desktop hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Experience with workstation setup, deployment, and break/fix support
- Basic networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, network connectivity, and workstation troubleshooting
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently during off-hours shifts
- Experience supporting healthcare environments is a plus
Additional Requirements
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle
- Willingness to travel between multiple South Jersey healthcare locations
- Up-to-date flu vaccination (required for healthcare facility access)
- Ability to work onsite during assigned evening, overnight, or weekend shifts
