IT Business Analyst, Data Analyst
The Senior Product Data Specialist owns the accuracy of our product catalog across Home Source's systems: RPS, POS, and e-commerce. That means mapping vendor data feeds, auditing attributes and pricing, resolving import errors, and keeping thousands of product records clean and consistent across multiple environments.
Since 2011, Home Source has been building retail software for independent appliance, furniture, mattress, and plumbing retailers. The product catalog sits at the center of everything we sell and every store we support. When the data is right, retailers sell with confidence. When it's not, everyone up and down the chain feels it.
You'll work a hybrid schedule from our Marlton, NJ headquarters alongside the product and IT teams. When a catalog issue surfaces from sales, a dealer, or customer service, you're the one who tracks it down and closes it. You'll also partner with IT on system improvements and contribute to the process documentation that makes the whole operation scale.
The right candidate has strong Excel instincts, hands-on PIM or ERP experience, and working SQL knowledge. You're comfortable in large datasets and care about getting it right.

The Role
What you'll be doing.Data integrity across every system we run, with direct impact on every dealer we serve.
Maintain the Product CatalogKeep product data accurate and up to date across RPS, POS, and e-commerce. Any record that's wrong or out of sync, you find it and fix it.
Take raw vendor feeds — models, UPCs, categories, images, documents — and map them cleanly into Home Source's internal catalog standards.
Audit Attributes and PricingRun regular audits of product attributes, pricing, categories, and assets. Catch gaps and inconsistencies before they reach the sales floor.
Resolve Import ErrorsMonitor data imports and close errors fast. If a feed breaks or a record won't load, you find the cause and fix it.
When sales, a dealer, or customer service flags a catalog problem, you own the investigation from first report to resolution.
Validate with SQLUse SQL queries to check data integrity, run bulk updates, find errors, and produce reports across catalog environments.
Work with Data FeedsHandle structured data formats — API, XML, CSV, FTP — across PIM and ERP environments. Keep feeds accurate and consistent at the source.
Partner with ITWork alongside IT on catalog system improvements and enhancements. Translate catalog requirements into actionable requests and follow them through.
Document and StandardizeWrite down how the catalog works. Build audit trails, document mappings, and create standardized processes that hold up across multiple brands and as the business grows.
