Join United Medical Systems (UMS), a recognized leader in mobile medical services. We are seeking an experienced Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) to support patients undergoing Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy (ESWL) procedures in a unique and rewarding clinical environment.
Responsibilities- Administer IV sedation under urologist supervision in accordance with state regulations.
- Perform comprehensive pre-procedure nursing assessments.
- Provide patient education on lithotripsy treatment and recovery.
- Monitor and document vital signs, sedation levels, and post-procedure outcomes.
- Ensure all documentation meets facility and company standards.
- Perform venipuncture and administer medications per physician direction.
- Participate in annual sedation competency reviews and training.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- ACLS and BLS certification required.
- Cardiac monitoring experience required.
- Minimum 5 years acute care nursing and conscious sedation administration experience.
- Strong knowledge of conscious sedation protocols and medication administration for patients with complex medical backgrounds.
- Ability to work independently in a mobile, fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to assist with light equipment handling and travel across sites (within 30 minutes).
- Flexible per diem schedule.
- Hands‑on involvement in advanced urologic procedures.
- Collaborative and innovative mobile medical team.
