Float Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) – Primary Care / Urgent Care 12-Week Contract Assignment | Float Clinic Position | Primary Care Experience Required

Job Title:

Float Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). Contract Length: 12 Weeks.

Location:

Float Clinics – Marlton, Cherry Hill, Sewell, Mount Laurel, Mount Holly, NJ. Work Setting:
In-Person, Patient-Facing Role.

Schedule:

30–35 hours per week. Monday–Friday: 8:30 AM – 7:30 PM. Saturday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM. Sunday: 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM. Weekend requirement:
Every other weekend / three out of every six weekends. Possible holiday rotations required.

Position Overview

A-Line Staffing is seeking an experienced Float Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) for a 12-week contract opportunity supporting multiple outpatient clinics throughout the Marlton, Cherry Hill, Sewell, Mount Laurel, and Mount Holly, NJ areas. This role requires a Nurse Practitioner with recent primary care or urgent care experience who is comfortable providing comprehensive patient care across multiple clinic locations. The provider will collaborate with a dedicated clinical care team to deliver evidence-based care, improve patient outcomes, and manage a diverse patient population.

Candidates must have prior primary care or urgent care experience. Candidates without this experience will not be considered.

Float Family Nurse Practitioner Responsibilities
  • Provide primary and family medicine evidence-based care, including:
    • Patient assessment
    • Diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic health conditions
    • Medication management
    • Health counseling and education
    • Care coordination and disposition planning
  • Perform routine examinations and diagnostic testing to support diagnosis and treatment decisions
  • Manage chronic disease conditions while focusing on quality outcomes and preventative care
  • Educate patients on healthy lifestyle choices, wellness, screenings, and disease prevention
  • Support behavioral health and wellness services
  • Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals to maintain comprehensive treatment plans
  • Encourage patients to actively participate in their healthcare through:
    • Health screenings
    • Wellness programs
    • Chronic condition management
    • Preventative care services
  • Complete patient follow‑up and maintain accurate clinical documentation
  • Manage patient appointments and ensure positive patient health outcomes
  • Verify insurance information and collect patient payments
  • Assist with clinic operations, including:
    • Opening and closing procedures
    • Inventory management
    • Maintaining a clean and safe clinical environment
Required Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program
  • Current National Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner
  • Active NP license in the state of New Jersey
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Primary Care experience as a Nurse Practitioner in:
    Family Medicine Primary Care Practice Urgent Care
  • BLS certification from American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA) required
  • Verifiable High School Diploma or GED required
  • Must provide:
    Screenshot of active BLS certification
  • Screenshot of active NP license
  • Completed candidate questionnaire with resume submission
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a clinical care team environment
  • Experience managing chronic disease conditions and quality measurements
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Systems (EMS/EHR)
  • Strong clinical judgment and ability to practice autonomously
  • Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Self‑motivated with strong problem‑solving abilities
  • Adaptable and flexible in a multi‑clinic float environment
  • Willingness to obtain additional state licensure if needed
Additional Requirements
  • This position is considered safety sensitive DEA registration may be required during onboarding
  • Must be comfortable traveling between assigned float clinic locations
  • Must be able to work independently while collaborating with a broader clinical care team
  • Prior experience with permanent employment recruiting processes is not required
