Position Summary:

The Clinical Marketing Nurse Liaison serves as a clinical representative of Weisman Children’s Rehabilitation Hospital and Voorhees Pediatric Facility, developing and maintaining strong relationships with referral sources, patients and families, healthcare professionals, community organizations, payers, and other strategic partners.

Combining clinical expertise with relationship management, patient and family engagement, referral development, community outreach, marketing, and admission coordination, the Clinical Marketing Nurse Liaison educates referral partners, prospective patients, and families about the organization’s programs, services, clinical capabilities, admission criteria, care environments, and available resources.

A central responsibility of the role is guiding prospective patients and families through the decision‑making process. This includes meeting with families to understand their individual needs and concerns, providing personalized facility tours, answering clinical and practical questions, and clearly explaining how the organization’s services may support the patient’s care needs and goals. Through these interactions, the Clinical Marketing Nurse Liaison helps patients and families feel informed, welcomed, and confident in their decisions while ensuring that all information provided is accurate, transparent, and clinically appropriate.

The Clinical Marketing Nurse Liaison also identifies patients who may benefit from the organization’s services and facilitates timely, effective communication among patients, families, referral partners, and internal clinical and admission teams. The position develops and manages a portfolio of referral accounts, identifies opportunities for organizational growth, and implements targeted outreach strategies aligned with the organization’s strategic and business objectives.

To support these responsibilities, the Clinical Marketing Nurse Liaison maintains a thorough understanding of the healthcare market, referral patterns, competitor activity, payer requirements, patient acuity trends, and the factors that influence patient and family placement decisions. The position supports the referral‑to‑admission process and must be able to perform the clinical assessment, communication, and coordination responsibilities assigned to the role for both organizations.
