Part-Time Nurse Practitioner

Contract Duration

This is a temporary contract position with an anticipated duration of 24 weeks
, based on business needs and project requirements. The selected candidate will work closely with the clinical team to provide high-quality patient care and support ongoing health assessment initiatives throughout the contract period. At the end of the contract, you will be added to the per-diem staffing pool.

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history review, physical examination, and interpretation of diagnostic tests.
• Accurately document patient encounters, progress notes, and other relevant information in electronic medical records or other documentation systems.
• Advising patients on preventative care and optimal health practices.
• Ensure quality of tests being performed.
• Refer patients for further diagnostic testing as needed.
• Relay information between clinics and physicians as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Completion of a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program.
• Passing a national certification exam administered by organizations such as the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB).
• State licensure as an NP.
• Adult patient population experience.
• Excellent judgment and discretion, ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
• Detail oriented while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Strong clinical skills with the ability to assess a wide range of medical conditions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of diagnostic equipment and procedures.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
