As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to calls, support staff, patients, and visitors with professional customer service, and document observations clearly.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support, dispatching appropriate resources, and completing required notifications.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by site.

+ Control access to restricted areas, monitor entry points and/or visitor check-in processes, and assist with directing persons to appropriate departments while following posted rules.

+ Maintain required firearms handling standards, carry assigned equipment in accordance with policy, and complete clear, accurate security-related reports and logs.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Have 3+ Years' Combined Law Enforcement/Military/Security Experience OR a College Degree.

+ Have an Armed Guard Card/License.

+ Be 21+ Years of Age.

+ Have a New Jersey RPO Certificate, which may be completed post hire.

+ CPR Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
