Position Overview

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the overall condition, safety, and appearance of the apartment community. The ideal candidate will have experience in apartment maintenance, strong technical skills, and the ability to complete work orders efficiently while delivering outstanding customer service.

This role requires someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently while contributing to a collaborative maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities

* Complete resident service requests in a timely and professional manner

* Perform routine maintenance and repairs in occupied and vacant apartment homes

* Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance, and carpentry-related issues

* Prepare vacant units for new resident move-ins, including painting, cleaning, and repairs

* Conduct preventative maintenance throughout the community

* Assist with maintaining building systems, common areas, and community amenities

* Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company standards

* Respond to maintenance emergencies as needed

* Maintain accurate records of completed work orders and repairs

* Support overall community appearance and curb appeal

Qualifications

* Previous apartment maintenance experience preferred

* Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, drywall, and general carpentry

* Ability to diagnose problems and complete repairs efficiently

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

* Excellent customer service and communication skills

* Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently

* Reliable transportation and dependable attendance

* EPA Certification is a plus

* HVAC certification is a plus but not required

* Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull maintenance equipment and materials as needed
