Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Lead is a key link between the company and its customer base of collision repair shops in the region. The goal for each Warehouse Lead is to provide support to a fast‑paced Warehouse Team. A successful Warehouse Lead will be able to contribute to the workflow of the department that oversees the warehouse operations and staff.
Shift Time: 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday-Friday
Responsibilities- Assist in Safety and Warehouse Processes training
- Maintain a safe and clean warehouse (Building and Equipment maintenance following safety regulations; trash clean up, facility repairs or equipment repair)
- Assist in physical labor
- Instruct, direct and work along with a team assigned by a Warehouse Supervisor while working on any specific warehouse task to meet deadlines (Shipping, Receiving, Maintenance, Quality Control)
- Communicate with Supervisors—Update on assigned tasks/warehouse associate progress/issues or adjustments when needed
- Troubleshoot problems associated with daily operations in major warehouse tasks (Receiving, Shipping, Maintenance and Quality Control)
- Interpret KPIs and guide the team to achieve the goals set forth
- Possesses a friendly and sincere demeanor.
- Proficiency communication skills, including the ability to carefully listen to, understand and follow-up on requests.
- Ability to handle issues with precision, professionalism, and courtesy.
- Ability to build rapport and credibility within the team.
- Enthusiasm, patience, and a positive attitude.
- Safety‑minded and open‑minded.
- Must be able to engage in frequent, repeated, rapid, and/or strenuous physical activity for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and knowledge of how to lift and carry objects safely, cautiously, and effectively
- Must be able to safely operate equipment, observe safety procedures, and meet safety requirements
- Staging, loading, unloading parts, and stocking, locating, and maintaining warehouse inventory
- Responsibilities include pulling orders for delivery and shipment
- Ability to operate a forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment
- Adequate knowledge of warehouse data system
